We provide training for the County Mutual License. As of 2015, Connect no longer provides CE courses. We recommend that you join the PIA or take classes online.

Only under extreme situations of grave illness/hospitalization or overseas military deployment. The mandatory fine is $50 per hour of missed C.E.

No, but you must turn it in within 10 months of passing the exam. The sooner you turn it in, the faster your license will be processed. TDI takes an average of 8-10 weeks to review and approve license applications. Do not call them for an update until 11 weeks after the date you mailed it in.

No. All of the links to forms you need, as well as instructions how to get fingerprints and how to fill out your application are found directly below:

Bring yourself and be on time! Bring our Study Guide that you reviewed. We will go through some of those questions and you may also want to bring paper to take notes, even though you can’t use the notes or the guide on the exam.

The class is a casual setting, you don’t have to wear a suit. It is important to get plenty of rest the night before so that you are not sleepy during class. We will have a lunch break (usually between 12:30 – 1:30 where you can leave and get your own lunch). We generally start taking the exam around 5pm and it is 60 questions, so it will take you between 30 minutes and 1:30 minutes to complete, depending on how well you learned the material and how careful you are with exams.

You can schedule a re-take anytime at our office in Plano or you can sign up for any of the classes we offer each month. Sometimes it is good to sit through the class a second time in order to really learn the content.
