Connect Insurance began in Texas with a focus on comprehensive and collision auto coverage, designed for drivers who value quality protection.
As we continue to grow, we’re expanding into neighboring states—paving the way toward our long-term goal: growing into a regional all-lines insurance provider and carrier.

Connect Insurance specializes in writing and servicing non-standard personal automobile insurance. We offer minimum-limits auto insurance policies in Texas, California, Oklahoma, and Utah.
The Connect family takes pride in the relationships we have built with our agents and insureds. Our staff works very hard every day to provide exceptional services and products at competitive rates and coverages. We aspire to become the number one choice of our targeted customers utilizing our core values of Integrity, Reliability, and Excellence.
Adjusting your coverage limits or raising your deductible can reduce your monthly rate, as long as it fits your needs. Lowering your annual mileage might also cut costs. Ask about available discounts, like those for continuous coverage.
You should add anyone who lives in your household or regularly drives your vehicle to your policy.
Insurance companies file their rates with state department of insurance and the rates charged must match the rates approved by the state. When other companies talk about choosing your rate, they are referring to your ability to pick or avoid coverages, so that the price you pay is close to what you want. Of course, you will likely not have as much coverage as you want, if you are not willing to pay more than you want.
We advise our independent insurance agents not to ever use the phrase "full coverage" because it is impossible for someone to be fully covered for every situation. Insurance policies have limits, deductibles and policy exclusions. All three of these reduce coverage, thus making it impossible to ever be fully covered. The most common example we see is when an insured calls in a claim, for example, their car was flooded. The insured then asks us for a rental car. Often time, insureds do not purchase Rental Reimbursement Coverage, which is a separate coverage from the Comprehensive or Other Than Collision coverage that they need to cover a flooded vehicle. We may respond that they don't have the correct coverage to pay for a rental vehicle. They then respond to us that "I have full coverage" to which we then respond that they need to review their coverage with their agent.
Liability Coverage is the minimum coverage that all drivers should purchase in order to satisfy state law. This coverage only provide payment to other 3rd parties that you may cause damage to in an auto accident. Purchasing liability coverage does not protect you or your vehicle from damage or injury caused in an accident.
Damage to Your Auto (Collision and Other Than Collision Coverage) is coverage that you should purchase if you want to protect your vehicle against covered causes of loss such as collision, flood, theft, vandalism, hail, etc.
Uninsured Motorist Coverage is coverage that you may want to purchase to protect you against Bodily Injury and/or Property Damage caused by someone that is driving without insurance or driving without enough insurance or an unknown individual that hits you and then runs. It is believed that 20-30% of the population of drivers fit this category of driving without insurance or without enough insurance to pay you for damages they cause you.
Medical Payments or Personal Injury Protection provides very limited coverage for injuries received in an accident. Your own health insurance may overlap this coverage, so if you are involved in an accident and your health insurance pays for your injuries, your health insurer will try and seek reimbursement from your auto policy.
Rental Reimbursement Coverage - If your vehicle is damaged in an accident and you have Coverage for damage to your auto, this coverage is required if you want reimbursement for rental car expenses while your vehicle is being repaired.
Towing/Labor - If you would like to have coverage that will reimburse you for out of pocket payments that you make to have a service come out and fix your tire or tow your vehicle, this coverage is designed for that purpose.
Roadside Assistance - If you want the type of coverage that sends out a tow truck or locksmith to help you with difficulties on the road, this coverage may be right for you. We use Auto Knight Roadside Assistance for our customers that purchase Roadside Assistance. They can be reached 24/7 at 866-366-9546
Loan/Lease Coverage - If you want coverage that will help if you owe more on your vehicle than what it is worth and your vehicle is involved in a covered total loss, then this coverage will increase you payout for a covered collision or other than collision loss by up to an additional 25%, thus helping you pay off your loan balance if you are upside down on a loan. Dealers offer Gap Insurance for this purpose, while Insurance companies offer this Loan/Lease coverage. The difference is Gap Insurance will cost you around $500 when you buy your car and it is rolled in to your financing, so it may add something like $3/month for the life of your loan. Loan/Lease coverage may cost you $8/month, give or take, but you can have it removed at any time, since you would not need it when your loan amount is less than your car's actual cash value.
Special Equipment Coverage - Customer equipment on pickups and vans is generally excluded from Damage to Your Auto coverage. Custom Rims or sound equipment may also have limited coverage on your auto policy. A custom paint job is also not generally covered. If there is anything special about your vehicle, you should review with your agent the need to buy custom equipment coverage.
Business/Artisan Use Coverage - Individuals that use their vehicle throughout the day, while working, should purchase this coverage since they have a higher probability of getting in an accident since their workday usually involves driving from one worksite to another.
Mexico Insurance Coverage - Most insurance policies do not provide automatic coverage outside of the United States, Canada or US Territories. If you are driving in Mexico, you should consider purchasing a Mexico Insurance policy or if you are driving only a few miles into Mexico, your insurance company may offer limited Mexico coverage. We recommend that you always purchase a policy from a Mexican Insurance company as they will generally have adjusters that can come out to the scene of the accident and they are staffed to provide you with immediate help in Mexico. A United States based insurance company is not generally prepared to help get you out of jail if you are in an accident.
REMINDER - Even if you purchase every single one of these coverages, you would still not be FULLY COVERED for every type of accident. Why? Because there are limits to each of these coverages, there are deductibles and there are exclusions that may result in claims denials in certain situations.
Whether your purchase Life Insurance, Home Insurance, or Auto Insurance... there are going to be a small percentage of claims that result in a claim denial due to a policy exclusion. For example, if you purposefully burn down your own house in order to collect on insurance, the company will likely not pay. The similar exclusion applies to auto insurance. If you have a fit of road rage and you intentionally crash into another car, there is a policy exclusion for intentional accidents. It is still very important that you purchase as much insurance coverage as possible so that you are protected in most cases. We feel that is better to let people know about limitations of insurance so that you can minimize disappointment that can occur if you don't have enough or the correct coverage.
